"The Wise King" is based on this vibrant figure from the early 16th-century Flemish painting "The Adoration of the Magi" from the Spinola Hours, Bruges and Ghent, c. 1510-20. The figure we are inspired by is wearing a gorgeous outfit that has every color in the rainbow. The vibrant ruby red, orange, golden yellow, emerald green, sapphire blue, and periwinkle pop with color against a black backdrop.
